How to select multiple portions of a Youtube Video
Found the perfect video but only need to just use portions of it ? Then ‘Add Cut’ feature of Razor Arts Editor can help you just include what you need. This will help you discard all the irrelevant portions of the Video. Watch the animation below.
To Select the portions of the a video, follow these steps:
- In the Video Editor your will view the transcript right below the Video. Select the portion of the Video you like using the mouse similar to any word editor i.e. Left click you mouse, keeping it pressed highlight the text, release the mouse.
- The start and end time of the video is automatically copied to the controls on the right. Click the ‘Add Cut’ button and
– the text in the transcript you have selected turns from black to blue.
– the portion of the clipped video appears in the Video bar at the top in blue
- You can repeat this process agani to inlcude another portion of the Video.
- To preview how your video will appear with your selection, click the PREVIEW button
- If you wish to Delete a cut simply click the ‘X’ on the cut bar below the Video.
Select the ‘Full Video’ for your Lesson
Found the perfect video and want to use the entire video for your lesson ? You can do this in two ways.
Option1: Using the ‘Full Video’ button.
- When you click ‘Edit’ button.
- You will get a pop up for ‘Trim Video’ or ‘Full Video’ button.
- Choose ‘Full Video’ to select the entire video for editing.
Option2: Select the entire text manually.
- If you are in the Video editor and later choose to select the entire text then you can do it manually.
- Using your mouse you can select the entire text in the transcript and click ‘Highlight’ button.
- If you are using chrome the you can also do CTRL + A and click ‘Highlight’ button.
